Daiana Meneses exclusively dating Carlos Guevarra

Though she constantly dates celebrity Carlo Guevarra, hot Brazilian model Daiana Menezes denies that the hunk is already her boyfriend.

''We're together. I cannot tell you na boyfriend ko na siya kasi parang maaga pa. I should know him for at least three years to call him boyfriend. I don't wanna call him my boyfriend. You can say we're exclusively dating,'' explains Daiana in an interview with Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online after GMA-7's press party on Dec. 14.

Rumors has it that Carlo is now considering Daiana ''the most influential person in his life,'' and that it is the main reason he moved to GMA-7 from ABS-CBN.

Daiana denied encouraging Carlo to leave his 'Kapamilya' behind.

''I gave him a few tips. I always advise him for the best. What he does in his private life, it is up to him. I used whatever connections I have just to give him the best pero it's really up to him. I can't say tinuruan ko siya. Ask mo na lang siya kasi parang ang pangit naman na sabihing dahil sa akin kaya siya lumipat,'' she said.

The Brazilian beauty met Carlo on the set of ''Lipgloss,'' the now defunct youth-oriented TV 5 show.

The two were paired together in the series and love seemed to have bloomed between them. Not surprisingly, they have been spotted a lot of times hanging out in malls, bars and events.

Daiana is aware that Carlo was once linked to singer Yeng Constantino.

''I never met her. Whatever issue that came out, wala akong alam. When I met him [Carlo], he's free,'' she said, adding, ''Wala akong inagaw.''

Daiana considers herself ''more Pinay'' now. She said she loves the Philippines, which has been her home for more than two years.

''I love this place. Gusto ko talaga dito. If I could stay here for good, I will.''

The model is interested in doing a full-length movie in the future. She has done cameo roles in two movies so far.

As for her choice of leading man, Daiana mentioned Aljur Abrenica.

Krista Ranillo, Death Threat issues

Krista Ranillo and her family have claimed receiving death threats over issues linking her to Manny Pacquiao.

This was revealed recently by the Ranillo family's lawyer, Atty. Tonisito Umali, in an interview aired on "Showbiz News Ngayon," Nov25.

Umali did not give details but he said the threats are "continuing and is one of the major reasons [the Ranillos, who are in the US as of this writing] have not returned to the country yet."

Umali also read a statement from the Ranillos, which expressed how the family is being affected by the brouhaha which has hogged the headlines for weeks now.

"Our family is deeply saddened by the continuing negative publicity being hurled upon [us] as a result of the alleged inappropriate relationship of Ms. Krista Ranillo with Mr. Manny Pacquiao."

Entertainment media trooped to the airport on Nov. 25, hoping to interview Krista who, prior, was reported to be flying home. Krista was a no-show but her manager Arnold Vegafria was at the airport from a separate trip.

"Nagkausap lang kami the other day. I was in Europe so naririnig ko na lang na masyado na palang grabe 'yong sisue. So, we talked about it.

"Sabi niya kasi sa akin the last time...nakusap ko siya, they're just friends. Close sila dahil ginagawa nila 'yong movie. Hindi ko alam, nagkaroon yata ng malisya," Vegafria explained.

He corrected rumors that Krista received $2 million from Manny after he won against Miguel Cotto. This aside from a previous gift, allegedly a "luxurious bag."

"Hindi, hindi. Walang ibinigay na bag si Manny sa kanya...maski balato. They're just friends."

He assured that Krista will be home soon.

"Uuwi na siya dahil may taping pa siya ng 'Agimat' so kailangan niyang tapusin 'yon. May shooting pa siya ng 'Wapakman'. Babalik naman siya, nagpapalamig lang (siya)."

Meanwhile, in the same SNN episode, Manny and wife Jinky were deluged with questions as soon as they arrived in General Santos City.

"Excited na rin akong makita kayo," Manny told the media.

He denied having troubles in their marriage. "Kayo ang may problema, hindi kami," he quipped.

"Bakit totoo ba? Ano lang, 'yong mga tao lang ang nag-isip. Kasi dapat panoorin nyo na lang ang 'Wapakman'," he added.

Pacman said nothing has changed on the home front. "Walang pagbabago. Hindi ako naapektuhan."

Accident in Shake,Rattle n Roll 11's "Ukay-Ukay" shooting

I bumped at Ruffa Gutierrez's twitter account few hours ago when she tweeted, "Freak accident on the set of Shake! Meagan Young almost burned n couldve died during exorcism scene! Lumakas apoy n whole cathedral black".

After an hour, she tweeted again "Megan traumatized.Being sent home. Now I will finish all her scenes minus the fire!SCARED! Zoren was in the scene too n had presence of mind!", "Our supervising producer just arrived on set asking what exactly went wrong. Grabe we're all still shocked! Before we resume-must all pray."

Whatever it is, hope they are all safe and no one was hurt. The photo here was the exact location of the shoot, an old rundown cathedral.

Sarah Geronimo Don't Want To Be Paired With Gerald Anderson

Sarah Geronimo's recent concert titled "Record Breaker" held at the Araneta Center, Cubao last November 7 was a sold out concert and were enjoyed by thousands of Sarah's fans and friends in the industry that filled up all the 25,000 seats at the stadium.

Yet, aside from her stardome, Sarah is a shy and quite off the camera and prefers to stay away from trouble. It's been a high topic lately as fans and celebrities compared her fame to Kim Chiu and when Sarah said she doesn't want to be tied up with Gerald Anderson both off-screen and on-screen to appease the Kimerald Fans.

"Masyado nang maraming nasasabing hindi maganda sa amin. [There are so many bad things said about us (Sarah and Gerald)," Geronimo told the gossip show "The Buzz" on Sunday.

Many Kimerald (Kim and Gerald) fans rush a violent reactions against a proposed film starring her and actor Gerald Anderson. Fans of the Anderson - Kim Chiu "love team" were opposed to the on-screen pairing between Geronimo and Anderson, and some openly criticized Geronimo and it stirs up the annoyance of Sarah's loyal supporters.

"Natuwa naman ako sa gestures ng mga supporters ko. Siyempre, nagre-react din sila kapag feeling nila masyado nang marami na nasasabing hindi maganda sa akin," pagtatanggol ni Sarah sa kanyang mga fans.

She understands why fans of Chiu and Anderson are reluctant to break up their favorite "love team", but that she had by no means forced to be coupled with Anderson- both on-screen and off-screen.

"Naiintindihan ko lahat 'yong mga fans ng 'Kimerald' (short for Kim and Gerald), wala sa akin 'yon. Hindi ko po kasi ipinagpipilitan ang sarili ko na makapareha si Gerald. Wala na, tapos na po. Ako na po ang nagsasabi na itigil na po natin [ang issue] kasi hindi maganda ang nagiging resulta," she said.

[I understand all the fans of Kimerald, that's nothing to me. I never forced myself to pair with Gerald. It's done, it's over. I'm asking everyone to stop making an issue out of it, because the results are not good.]

"The Buzz" host Boy Abunda, meanwhile, praised the singer for wanting to "stay out of trouble."

Abunda, who spoke in Geronimo's defense, described her as "shy and quite off-stage" and that Geronimo is a "good girl who always stays close to her family."
Though demure off-stage, Geronimo reportedly transforms into a daring performer onstage.
